We are seeking an experiencedProcess Piping / Revit MEP Drafterto join our Sydney team on a6–12 month contract, with the potential for extension based on project workload and performance.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a technically complexadvanced manufacturing facility, developing and coordinating process piping and building services within highly serviced production environments.
The position isfully office-based in Sydney, with occasional day trips to a local project site as required.
The anticipated commencement islate August.
The Role
Working closely with our engineering and project teams, you will be involved in the development and coordination of process piping and services documentation usingRevit MEP and/or Plant 3D.
Your responsibilities will include:
Developingprocess piping layouts and detailed drawings
Producing and updatingP&IDs;
Developing coordinated services models usingRevit MEP and/or Plant 3D
Preparing piping plans, sections, details and equipment layouts
Coordinating process piping with architectural, structural and building services disciplines
Working closely with mechanical, electrical and process engineers




Assisting with multidisciplinary BIM coordination and clash resolution
Incorporating engineering mark-ups and design changes into models and drawings
Supporting documentation through design and construction phases
Occasional attendance at a local Sydney project site as required
About You
Ideally, you will have approximately5–15 years of relevant drafting/design experience, although capability and relevant project experience will be considered ahead of a strict number of years.
You will ideally have:
Strongprocess piping drafting/design experience
Proficiency inRevit MEP and/or AutoCAD Plant 3D
Experience developingP&IDs; and piping layouts
Positive understanding of equipment layouts and piping coordination
Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering environments
Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical documentation
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a project team
Experience withmechanical and/or electrical building serviceswould be highly regarded.
Previous experience withinadvanced manufacturing, pharmaceutical, laboratory, cleanroom, food/process, industrial or similarly highly serviced facilitieswould also be advantageous.
