About the Role
As the Site Lead Security Technician, you'll oversee project delivery and manage a team of security technicians to ensure quality, compliance, and efficiency across installations, maintenance, and commissioning.
Your day-to-day will include
Leading site teams and coordinating subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget
Managing scheduling, reporting, and project documentation via approved platforms (e.g. Simpro)
Installing, programming,



commissioning, and testing advanced electronic security systems
Conducting site surveys, identifying risks, and recommending effective security solutions
Acting as the primary client contact in office and ensuring exceptional service delivery
Fostering a culture of teamwork, safety, and professional development within your crew

What You'll Bring
Must be an Australian Citizenship (NV1 Security Clearance eligibility required – Secom will support this)
NSW Security Licence or ability to obtain one 5+ years' experience in electronic security systems installation, maintenance, or commissioning
Proven leadership or supervisory experience in managing field teams
Drivers licence
White Card and Asbestos Awareness Card (or ability to obtain)
Strong technical knowledge of Gallagher, Tecom, Inner Range, or similar systems
Excellent communication, client engagement, and team coordination skills
Trade qualifications in electronics, security, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Nice to Have
Project management certification or degree
ICT networking skills
Fault identification, isolation, and reporting
Experience creating cable schedules, drawings, and documentation
