We are seeking an experienced and reliableFinanceManagerto join our transport company and take responsibility for the day-to-day accounting functions of the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised, detail-oriented accounting skilled who can work independently and enjoys working closely with an operations team.

Key Responsibilities
ManageAccounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Prepare and issue customer invoices and follow up overdue accounts
Process supplier invoices and payments
Complete bank and account reconciliations
Manage driver and subcontractor payments
Monitor cash flow and prepare basic financial reports
Assist withBAS, GST, payroll and other accounting requirements
Work closely with the operations team to ensure all jobs are accurately and promptly invoiced
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
Provide accounting support and information to management as required
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in anAccounts Manager, Finance Officer or similar accounting role
Experience within thetransport or logistics industryis highly desirable
Strong knowledge and practical experience usingXero and Microsoft Excel
A sound understanding of Australian accounting and GST requirements
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
The ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
