QC Dental is seeking anAssociate Dentistto join our practice in Chatswood, NSW.
This is apart-time positionfor regular Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays.
We offer flexibility whilst maintaining the opportunity to deliver high-quality dental care to our patients.
As an Associate Dentist, you will play a vital role in our clinical team, providing comprehensive dental treatments and contributing to the overall success and reputation of our practice.
This role is integral to ensuring we continue to meet the clinical needs of our diverse patient base whilst upholding the highest standards of dental care.
Key responsibilities
Providing a full range of general dental treatments, including preventive care, restorative procedures, and diagnostic assessments
Conducting thorough patient consultations, taking detailed medical and dental histories, and developing individualised treatment plans
Maintaining accurate and timely patient records in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practice standards
Ensuring all clinical work adheres to infection control protocols and health and safety regulations
Collaborating with the wider dental team to provide coordinated, patient-centred care
Contributing to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives within the practice
Communicating effectively with patients to explain treatment options, build trust, and ensure informed consent
Managing patient anxieties and providing a compassionate, professional approach to all clinical interactions
What we're looking for
A current dental degree recognised by the Dental Board of Australia and valid registration with AHPRA
Proven experience as a dentist, ideally with several years of clinical practice in a general practice setting
Strong clinical knowledge and competency across a broad range of general dental procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues
A commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to continuing professional development requirements
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively in a busy practice environment
Knowledge of current dental software and digital systems is advantageous
A patient-focused approach with a genuine commitment to providing high-quality, ethical dental care
Current CPR certification and willingness to maintain other required certifications
