Kitchenhand/Cook
to join our dynamic kitchen team on a
casual basis

, this role is pivotal to delivering exceptional food experiences to our guests. You will work in a fast-paced hospitality environment where your culinary skills, attention to detail and passion for quality food preparation are essential. This casual position offers flexibility whilst providing the opportunity to be part of a team dedicated to excellence in food service.
What you'll be doing
Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and quality standards
Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations and best practices
Assist with food preparation, including chopping, marinating and portioning ingredients
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure dishes are prepared to specification
Plate and present dishes in an appealing manner that reflects our brand standards
Rotate stock and manage inventory to minimise waste and maintain freshness
Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient service during peak times
Follow all health and safety protocols, including proper handling of equipment and food items
Support senior kitchen staff with additional tasks as required to maintain operational excellence
What we're looking for
Proven experience as a Kitchenhand or Cook in a busy hospitality environment
Working knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards, including food handling certifications where applicable




Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain composure during service periods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency in food quality
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
Physical fitness and stamina for standing for extended periods and managing kitchen tasks
A flexible approach to casual work with willingness to adjust schedules as needed
Desirable: Experience with BBQ cooking techniques and grilling methods
Desirable: Current food handling or hospitality qualifications
