Acacia Pharmacy, part of the Aspect Health group, is seeking passionate and highly motivated
Dispensary Technicians or Pharmacy Assistants
to support our pharmacists in delivering pharmacy services to Aged Care facilities across Southeast Queensland.

Key Responsibilities
In this important role, you will be responsible for:
Assisting pharmacists with the preparation of medications
Working with medication charts, including placing orders and applying changes
Dispensing prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist
Processing daily Aged Care medication orders (there is no webster packing)
Providing exceptional
customer service
on a daily basis
Liaising with nursing home staff, prescribing doctors, other stakeholders and visit facilities when required
Managing tasks to achieve individual and team KPIs
Developing specialised patient care and medication management skills
Passion for Customer Service - There are also facility

About You
The ideal candidate will have:
Dispensing experience in a pharmacy or hospital environment
A strong commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
Proven reliability, excellent time management, and strong attention to detail
Proficiency in using dispensing and medication management software
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, face to face and phone-based)
The ability to multitask in a large, fast-paced, and agile environment
A positive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented attitude
Certificate III in Community Pharmacy or a Dispensary Skillset qualification
OR
Certificate II in Community Pharmacy with a willingness to undertake Certificate III training
A National Police Certificate will be required in line with company policy.
