SUMMARY ON POSTING
Indigeco is seeking two experienced Quarry Operators to join an established quarry operation based in Teralba, NSW.
This is a great opportunity for experienced plant operators looking for consistent hours, competitive pay and long term stability. The successful candidates will have strong Front End Loader experience, a solid safety mindset and previous exposure to quarrying, mining, civil, concrete or a similar heavy industry environment.
The positions are available for an immediate start, with the potential for high performing candidates to transition into permanent employment.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Quarry Operator, you will play an important role in supporting the day to day production and movement of materials across the site.
Your primary focus will be the safe and efficient operation of a Front End Loader, along with assisting with stockpile management, general quarry activities and crushing and screening operations where required.
This is an on site position based in Teralba, working approximately 40 hours per week. Candidates with additional mobile plant experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely and efficiently operate Front End Loaders
Load, move and manage quarry materials in accordance with site procedures
Support daily quarry production activities as directed by site supervisors
Assist with stockpile management and general quarry operations




Support crushing and screening activities where required
Complete daily pre start checks and basic plant inspections
Maintain high housekeeping standards across work areas
Identify and report hazards, faults and equipment issues promptly
Follow site traffic management procedures and workplace safety requirements
Work collaboratively with supervisors, operators and other site personnel
WHAT YOU NEED
Demonstrated Front End Loader operating experience is essential
Previous experience within quarrying, mining, civil construction, concrete or a similar heavy industry environment
Relevant plant operating competencies, tickets or demonstrated experience
Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
Ability to safely operate around heavy plant, equipment and moving vehicles
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
Ability to work approximately 40 hours per week on site in Teralba
Ability to work effectively within a team and follow site procedures
Additional experience operating Excavators, Dump Trucks or Water Carts will be highly regarded
RII competencies, VOCs and experience with crushing and screening operations will also be highly regarded
WHAT YOU GET
