Kurrajong have worked for over 68 years helping people with disability achieve their goals and live a life of their choice in open, accessible and inclusive communities. We are a not-for-profit registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider. Our Head Office is based in Wagga Wagga but we are located throughout the Riverina Murray region.
About the Opportunity
We have a number of exciting opportunities for casual Community Support Workers to join our Lifestyle Choices Teams in the West Wyalong and Temora locations. These casual positions provide cover for planned leave and short-notice unplanned absences, so adaptable availability is highly desirable.
As a Community Support Worker, you'll be responsible for providing a quality service to support the individual needs of our clients.
This includes:
Fostering an environment that empowers people with disability and promotes community integration
Providing support to our clients to achieve their goals in the areas of volunteer work, communication, creative expression, living skills, community participation, sport and recreation
Research, develop and implement activities where our clients can participate and develop their skills




Providing support to people with disability to look after themselves while enhancing their independence and self-determination.
Importantly, you must demonstrate a real desire to work with people living with disability and have a sound understanding of how to best assist them to live a life of their choice.
