We are seeking a highly experiencedFactory / Production Managerto take a senior leadership role within our established high-end joinery business in Sydney.
We specialise inpremium residential and architectural joinery, working alongside leading builders, architects and interior designers.
Our projects are bespoke and demand exceptional quality, accuracy and attention to detail.
This isnot a volume cabinetry role.
We are looking for someone with extensive experience inhigh-end custom joinerywho can confidently take ownership of a busy factory, production team and multiple projects.

About You
You will ideally have8+ years' experience in joinery/cabinetmaking, including significant experience in factory management, production management or a senior supervisory role.
You will have strong knowledge of:
High-end residential and architectural joinery
Bespoke kitchens, wardrobes and custom cabinetry
Architectural plans and detailed shop drawings
Veneers, solid timber, polyurethane and premium finishes
CNC machinery and modern manufacturing processes
Production scheduling and factory workflow
Quality control and installation requirements
Managing multiple projects and deadlines
Troubleshooting complex manufacturing and site issues
The Role
You will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day running of the factory, including:
Leading and coordinating the production team
Planning production schedules and allocating labour
Reviewing jobs and drawings prior to manufacture
Working closely with drafting, project management and installation teams
Ensuring materials and hardware are available when required
Monitoring production deadlines and workflow
Identifying bottlenecks and improving factory efficiency
Minimising rework, wastage and unnecessary labour
Resolving manufacturing and installation issues
Maintaining WHS and safe working practices
Mentoring and developing factory staff
The Person
We need someone who canrun the factory – not simply supervise it.
You will be highly organised, proactive, calm under pressure and confident making decisions.
You will understand labour efficiency, productivity, wastage and rework while never compromising on quality.
Most importantly, you will know that in high-end joinery,"good enough" is not positive enough.
For someone who can genuinely take ownership of our factory, team and production, this is an excellent long-term senior opportunity.
