Annual salary is $111,370 + 12% super

About the role:
The
IT Service & Project Manager
provides technical leadership, operational oversight, and strategic support across IT infrastructure and services. This position is responsible for ensuring the secure, reliable, and productive delivery of IT services across all AMES Australia sites. The role balances hands‐on technical expertise with leadership responsibilities in Infrastructure project management, contributing to service excellence, continuous improvement, and alignment with organisational and technical objectives while keeping environment secure.




To be considered for this role, you will be able to demonstrate the following key selection criteria:
Minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science / Project management or similar field AND;
At least 5 years' experience in IT Team management and Network and Systems position or similar technical position
Demonstrated ability to provide technical support in a networked environment e.g. (Windows Desktop OS, Windows Server OS and Microsoft Applications / Products)
Advanced understanding of voice services operation to effectively manage the voice system and implement changes to voice user accounts, phone numbers and extensions, handsets, dial plans and call queues, desktop application provisioning
Windows Active Directory Design, Implementation, Administration and Maintenance
Windows Workstation Setup, configuration and maintenance
Packaging Applications for Central Deployment to Workstations
Remote Desktop Management
Ability to provide technical support to staff and diagnosing and resolving hardware and software problems
Broad knowledge and demonstrated ability to install and support relevant business applications
Demonstrated positive values of integrity, reliability, teamwork and professionalism and a demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, quality assurance and customer service principles




Up to date with Technical Advancements in IT and Multimedia
In depth knowledge and experience of computer hardware & peripherals
Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills, dealing with difficult customers and conflict situations
Advanced training skills & instructions material and user guide development skills
Good time management and organizational skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as operating individually
Demonstrated ability to provide support to a team of technical staff
Appropriate training will be provided to develop the required technical skills as required
A current valid Driver's licence is required
