We've partnered with a leading international bank to recruit experienced Financial Crime Analysts to support a specialist investigations team responsible for identifying and escalating suspicious matters to AUSTRAC.
This role would suit candidates with strong AML/CTF, Transaction Monitoring, Fraud Investigations or Financial Crime Investigations experience who have previously prepared or contributed to Suspicious Matter Reports (SMRs) or Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
What You'll Be Doing:
Investigating unusual matters escalated from Fraud Operations
Reviewing customer profiles and account activity
Analysing transaction patterns and financial crime risks
Identifying fraud and AML/CTF red flags
Preparing high quality Grounds for Suspicion (GFS) narratives
Drafting SMRs for review and potential submission to AUSTRAC
Providing clear rationale where matters are not deemed suspicious
What We're Looking For:
Previous Financial Crime, AML/CTF, Fraud Investigations, or Transaction Monitoring experience in a Banking workplace
Understanding of Australian banking regulations and AML/CTF obligations
Strong investigative and analytical skills
Excellent written communication and report-writing capability

Hybrid working arrangement (3 days in office once trained)
Contract through to 31 March ****
Full-time Monday to Friday business hours
