is seeking qualified casual Chefs, with above award pay rate based on skill and experience.
TheBendigo District RSL is a busy club with a large kitchen and offers quality dining experiences within its bistro, function rooms and sports bar. We are open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, using fresh, local and seasonal produce. The successful applicant must be fully qualified, have a passion for food, an eye for detail and have pride in everything they do.
Your role includes the following key tasks:
Exposure and experience in a large busykitchen environment
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure great service and great food
Maintain high standards of food, food safety, cleanliness and presentation
Willingness to learn recent methods of cooking and havea respect for quality ingredients
An ability to think on your feet and work well under pressure in a busy environment
Flexibility to work across a range of hours including weekends, evenings and public holidays.
