Our client, a leading manufacturer of drainage systems based in
Dandenong
, is seeking an experienced
Warehouse Team Leader / 2IC
to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong warehouse and forklift experience who is looking for a long-term role with an established and respected manufacturer.
Pay Rate:
$***** per hour
Shift:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm

About the Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will act as the
second-in-charge (2IC)
within the warehouse operation, supporting daily workflow, coordinating a small team, and ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time.
This is a hands-on position requiring regular forklift operation, warehouse coordination, and leadership support within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day running of warehouse operations
Lead by example and assist in coordinating a small warehouse team
Oversee the picking, packing, and staging of customer orders to meet dispatch deadlines
Ensure all orders are accurate, correctly labelled, and prepared for transport
Operate both
Reach and Counterbalance forklifts
safely and efficiently
Load and unload trucks as required
Monitor stock movement and maintain warehouse organisation
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
Adhere to all workplace health and safety procedures and company policies




To Be Successful, You Will Have
Proven experience operating both
Reach and Counterbalance forklifts
Previous experience in a
Team Leader, Leading Hand, Senior Storeperson, or 2IC
role
Experience supporting or supervising a small team within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a physically demanding role
A proactive, reliable, and safety-focused attitude
Reliable transport and excellent attendance record
Availability to commence immediately
