APG Workforce is currently seeking an experienced
Road Worker
to join a local government team based at the
Murrurundi Depot
.
Location:
Murrurundi Depot
Pay Rate:
$***** per hour + Super
Start:
ASAP, pending checks
Duration:
3 months, with possibility of extension
Hours:
9-day fortnight | Monday RDO
What you will be doing:
General roadwork and labouring duties
Assisting with road maintenance and construction activities
Operating small plant equipment as required
Responding to incidents and call-outs as part of a roster
Working safely as part of a team
Occasional travel for natural disaster response works
May occasionally involve working away for a specific event on a 9-day fortnight, then returning home for 3 days
Requirements:
Previous labouring experience
Construction White Card – essential
Traffic Control ticket – highly regarded
Previous small plant operating experience – highly regarded
Ability to work outdoors and undertake physical labour
Reliable and safety-focused
Ability to participate in a 9-day fortnight and call-out roster
Must be able to successfully complete abackground/police check
