Ambrose Construct Group is a leading national insurance building specialist, delivering residential and commercial repair solutions across Australia.
We're looking for a motivated Trainee Construction Manager to join our NSW team. Working alongside the NSW State Construction Manager, you'll gain valuable hands‐on experience supporting residential repair projects while developing the technical, operational and leadership skills needed for a successful management career.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in the construction industry. You'll support day-to-day construction operations, assist Building Supervisors, contribute to client outcomes and help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
Support the delivery of residential repair projects across NSW
Assist in monitoring construction performance and achieving client KPIs
Provide support with scheduling, audits, risk management and project escalations
Ensure compliance with building codes, Australian Standards and WHS requirements
Interpret plans, engineering drawings and technical reports
Build positive relationships with clients, trades and internal stakeholders
Assist with reporting, performance analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
Contribute to training, mentoring and customer service outcomes
About You
You'll be eager to learn, enjoy working collaboratively and be passionate about building a long-term career in construction leadership.
You'll ideally have:
A degree in Construction Management (completed or currently studying), or equivalent industry experience (desirable)




Experience within residential construction or building supervision (essential)
Strong understanding of construction processes and willingness to expand your technical knowledge
Robust communication and relationship-building skills
Excellent organisational and problem‐solving abilities
A commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
A proactive attitude and willingness to develop your leadership capabilities
Commitment to workplace health and safety
