Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Locum Specialty Doctor to join our clinical team within a leading NHS Trust.
The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care, support multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to the delivery of safe and effective clinical services.
Applicants must have previous NHS experience, excellent clinical skills, and the ability to work independently within their specialty while contributing positively to departmental objectives.
Essential Requirements
Full GMC Registration with Licence to Practice.
Previous NHS clinical experience within the relevant specialty.
Valid Right to Work in the United Kingdom.
Evidence of ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
Solid communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Up-to-date mandatory training and compliance documentation.
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
Key Responsibilities
Assess, diagnose, and manage patients within the specialty.
Participate in inpatient, outpatient, ward, theatre, and on-call activities as required.
Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with NHS standards.
Support consultants and junior medical staff.
Participate in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement activities.
Ensure compliance with Trust policies, GMC guidance, and NHS standards.
Work collaboratively with nursing, allied health professionals, and administrative teams to deliver optimal patient care.
