Veterinary Nurse – Part-Time or Casual
Our client is seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join their busy and well-equipped small animal practice on either a part-time or casual basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinary nurse with at least two years of clinical experience who is looking for long-term employment within a supportive, professional team committed to delivering exceptional patient care and client service.
About the Practice
Our client is a modern, fully equipped small animal hospital located in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs.
The practice is committed to providing a high standard of veterinary care and is equipped with digital radiography, in-house laboratory facilities, dental equipment, ultrasound and orthopaedic surgical capabilities.
The team prides itself on delivering excellent customer service while fostering a collaborative and supportive workplace culture.
The Role
The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of veterinary nursing, including:
Surgical nursing and anaesthetic monitoring
Patient care and handling
Reception and client service
Assisting veterinarians with medical and surgical procedures
Housekeeping and maintaining clinical standards
Supporting and mentoring trainee veterinary nurses
About You
The ideal candidate will possess:




A minimum of two years' veterinary nursing experience
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A friendly, compassionate and professional approach to client care
Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
The ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team
A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and continue developing professionally
Reliability, dedication and a strong work ethic
A genuine passion for animal care and nursing excellence
