About the Role
As a Trades Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting our workshop by:
Assisting technicians with servicing, repairs and trailer modifications.
Preparing trailers for workshop repairs and customer delivery.
Washing of Customer and Company equipment.
Performing basic mechanical and fabrication support tasks.
Operating workshop equipment safely and efficiently.
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workshop.
Assisting with lifting, moving and positioning components and trailers.
Carrying out general workshop and housekeeping duties.
Supporting the team to ensure customer work is completed safely, efficiently and on time.

Previous experience as a Trades Assistant, Mechanical Assistant, Trailer Technician Assistant or within a heavy vehicle workshop will be highly regarded, however we are also happy to consider applicants looking to start a career in the industry.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
A genuine interest in the heavy vehicle or automotive industry.
The ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
A commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
A current driver's licence (HR/HC licence or forklift licence is advantageous but not essential).
