A busy, modern 72-room motel in central Queensland seeks a skilled and dependable
Relief Management Couple or Single Relief Manager
to oversee the day-to-day operations of our motel and restaurant for the following relief periods:
27th August to 9th September ****
5th November to 18th November ****
17th December to 30th December ****
This motel's primary customer base consists of corporate clients in the mining sector.
Managers must carry out standard reception duties, including ordering supplies, staff management, invoicing, reporting & administration.
Reception is open Monday to Friday 7am – 7pm and weekends 9am – 5pm.
A fully staffed restaurant is open Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 8:30 PM.
Restaurant staff require minimal supervision, however managers should be available to assist when needed.
Bed linen and towels are outsourced.
Wonderful housekeeping staff are in place.
Managers & housekeepers will share the washing rags and doona covers.
No Pool.
No gardening is required,



as the maintenance employee handles this work.
Managers only need to water the few plants around the reception area.
Guestpoint FOS.
Accommodation, food, & a work vehicle are included.
$375 per day for a single manager & $450 per day for a couple
.
The ideal candidates will have strong managerial skills, great attention to detail, and a dedication to maintaining the high standards we've set for guest satisfaction.
You must also be proficient in using computer systems and reservation software (Microsoft Suite, Guestpoint and SiteMinder essential, Xero preferred).
Successful applicants must have a current Food Safety Supervisors Certificate, Food Handling Certificate, and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate.
Ideally you will arrive the day before the relief starts ready for handover.
