Qualifications
What will you bring?
You'll bring:
Previous barista experience in a café, restaurant, hotel or similarly fast-paced environment
Strong espresso preparation and milk-texturing skills
A genuine interest in coffee, quality and consistency
Confidence working through busy breakfast and service periods
Warm, intuitive guest service




Solid attention to detail and presentation
A positive, collaborative approach with your fellow colleagues
The ability to stay organised, clean and composed behind the bar
Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including early mornings, weekends and public holidays
You must already have current and ongoing working rights
You'll also bring curiosity.
A willingness to learn more, try something new and understand the story behind what we serve.
Because at Andaz, knowing the product matters — but knowing how to bring it to life matters just as much.
What will you do?
You'll be part of the daily rhythm of Andaz Gold Coast, creating coffee experiences that feel polished without feeling formal.
You'll prepare espresso-based beverages to a consistently high standard, maintain the coffee station, support smooth service and connect naturally with guests throughout the day.
You'll remember the regular who likes an extra shot.
Notice when someone is in a hurry.
Take the time when someone wants to know more.
It's those small moments that turn service into hospitality.
