IGA Glengala is looking for a
Butcher Service Assistant
to join our busy meat department.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve customers at the meat counter with friendly, professional service
Fill and maintain the
poultry window
Fill, rotate, and maintain the
meat display
to a high standard
Ensure correct product presentation and stock levels
Cleaning duties, including equipment and work areas
Follow food safety and hygiene standards
Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
What We're Looking For:
Previous meat or supermarket experience preferred
Reliable, hardworking, and team-focused
Willingness to learn and follow procedures
Flexible availability, including Casual, Full time and Part-time positions.
