Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of industrial fans and blowers, supplying high-quality equipment and solutions across a range of industries.
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to join their team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys troubleshooting, testing, wiring and working with industrial electrical equipment.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for the electrical testing, wiring, maintenance and troubleshooting of industrial fans, motors and associated equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
Test, wire and maintain industrial fans, motors and associated electrical components
Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams and technical specifications
Test motors and electrical components for functionality, safety and compliance
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues and identify root causes
Carry out routine inspections and preventative maintenance
Repair or replace faulty electrical components
Complete FATs, performance testing, inspections and service documentation
Maintain accurate maintenance and service records
Work alongside other trades and contractors to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently
Provide technical support and guidance to other team members and apprentices
Respond to service and operational issues as required
Ensure all work is completed in line with relevant safety standards, regulations and procedures
Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors and team members
What We're Looking For:
Qualified Electrical Technician, Electrician or relevant electrical trade qualification
Commercial or industrial electrical experience highly regarded
Previous experience working with motors, machinery or industrial equipment
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical manuals
Robust fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Confident using electrical testing equipment including multimeters
Experience with vibration sensors or trim balancing equipment is advantageous
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Ability to work autonomously and manage tasks through to completion
Good communication and customer service skills
Physically capable of bending, kneeling, lifting and climbing as required
Current driver's licence
