About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented
Process Inspector
to join our production team at Designed Mouldings. In this important role, you'll play a key part in maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety by performing in-process visual inspections and ensuring goods are packed correctly.
This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who takes pride in quality, works well in a team environment, and is committed to a secure workplace.
Key Responsibilities
Perform thorough
in-process visual inspections
of moulded products to ensure they meet established quality standards.
Pack goods according to item specifications.
Inspect and prepare second-hand (return) cartons for re-use, ensuring they are suitable and labels are cancelled or removed.
Cover completed pallets with top sheets and secure them properly.
Collect samples for final inspection, document quality issues, and complete In-Process Inspection Sheets.
Sort or rework articles as required.




Maintain a clean and tidy manufacturing area at all times.
Immediately report any safety, quality, or process concerns to Leading Hands or Shift Supervisors.
Work collaboratively with fellow inspectors, supervisors, and production teams across shifts.
Requirements
Successful completion of company induction and minimum
2 weeks in-house training
.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Good communication skills and a proactive, safety-first mindset.
Physical fitness suitable for standing, moving, and handling materials during shifts.
Previous experience in quality inspection or manufacturing is advantageous but not essential – full training provided.
