What you'll be doing:
Custom fabrication & machining:
Plastic gluing/welding, shaping, bending, and precision cutting using various workshop machines and power tools.
Job management:
Using our digital business system to log project progress, track time against specific jobs, and update order statuses in real-time.
Plans & drawings:
Interpreting PDF workshop drawings and architectural plans to ensure precision.
Inventory & Safety:




Picking correct stock, conducting basic machine checks, as well as maintaining a clean safe and work area.
Work with an assorted range of plastics
, including but limited to: Acrylic (Perspex), Polycarbonate, PVC, HDPE, ABS ...
What we're looking for:
Skills & Experience:
Solid background in plastic fabrication or carpentry is
essential
.
Proven ability to read PDF workshop drawings and architectural plans.
Tech-savviness:
Comfortable using tablets or computers to navigate job tickets and update internal project records using ERP software.
Operation and safety experience with CNC routing, laser cutting/engraving, and lasers is a plus!
Personal Attributes:
Enthusiastic, diligent, and takes pride in your craftsmanship.
Effective communication skills:
Essential for working smoothly with the team and following project specs.
Able to work autonomously or as part of a team.
General Requirements:
Full Australian working rights.
Physically fit (lifting and bending required)
Reliable transport to work - on-site staff parking is available, and public transport is within walking distance.
Forklift licence is a big plus.
