At Brisbane Private Hospital, we're seeking passionate and patient-focused Registered Nurses to join our thriving Day of Surgery Unit.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a collaborative team dedicated to providing exceptional care and outstanding patient experiences.
We currently have 1 Full Time opportunity & 1 Part Time opportunity (56 hours per fortnight)
About the role:
As a key member of our Day of Surgery team, you'll care for patients throughout their surgical journey, working alongside experienced clinicians in a fast-paced, qualified, and supportive environment.
You'll be supported by great managers, be part of a strong, innovative team and have the opportunity to grow as you support our patient's each day.
As a Registered Nurse your responsibilities will include:
Deliver safe, researched-based standards of nursing care
Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs
Act as a role model for Safe Practice
Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery
About you:
Current Registration with AHPRA
Prior experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting - ideally within in Periop
Prior experience in a day surgery setting highly regardedSound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
