This role plays an important part in supporting project teams, maintaining compliance requirements, and ensuring the smooth operation of the business.
About the Role:
You'll be responsible for:
Performing on-site welding and fabrication works
Reading and interpreting shop drawings and engineering plans
Installing and modifying structural steel, handrails, balustrades, stairs and other metalwork
Carrying out MIG, TIG and Stick welding to a high standard
Operating fabrication equipment and power tools safely and efficiently
Conducting quality checks to ensure work meets project specifications
Maintaining a safe, organised and compliant work setting
Working collaboratively within a strong team environment
Assisting with general construction and site works as required
About You:
To be successful, you'll ideally have:
Trade qualification in Engineering Fabrication, Boilermaking, Welding or similar
Proven experience in site welding and steel fabrication
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings




Current White Card
Current driver's licence
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Highly Regarded:
Working at Heights certification
Elevated Work Platform (EWP) ticket
Forklift license
Structural steel installation experience
First Aid certification
