Guidewire Business Analyst / Guidewire Technical Business Analyst
Location: St Kilda Rd, Melbourne
About the role
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Technical Business Analyst to support a large-scale Guidewire implementation within a General Insurance environment. The role will work across business and technology teams to understand requirements, design practical solutions and support successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders to understand business and technical requirements.
Document business requirements, functional specifications, user stories and acceptance criteria and maintain delivery documentation using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Develop process maps and identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to Agile ceremonies and delivery activities.
Perform data analysis, data mapping and support data migration activities.




Define API and system integration requirements.
Work with technology teams and vendors to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Support solution design, testing, implementation and defect resolution.
Work closely with business users to support UAT and change activities.
Key Skills & Experience
Strong Business Analyst / Technical BA experience in enterprise environments.
Experience with Guidewire InsuranceSuite, including PolicyCenter, BillingCenter or ClaimCenter, highly desirable.
General Insurance experience preferred.
Strong requirements elicitation, process modelling and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with APIs, REST, JSON, XML and system integrations.
Understanding of data mapping and analysis.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
