We're currently seeking a Family Lawyer who shares our values and is dedicated to achieving positive outcomes that have a meaningful impact on people's lives.
In this role, you'll work closely with our Principal Solicitor and collaborate with Family Dispute Resolution Practitioners and Counsellors to provide a holistic approach to family law.
As a Family Lawyer, you will
Independently manage a diverse caseload from start to finish
Advise on a broad range of family law matters including parenting, property, child support, and maintenance
Assist in preparing legally binding agreements such as consent orders and financial agreements
Represent clients in dispute resolution processes following separation or family breakdown
Occasionally represent clients in Court
Employment type
Permanent Full-time.
We also welcome applications from candidates seeking a Part-time arrangement of 22.5 hours per week, with availability to work Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Location
This role will primarily be based at our Coffs Harbour office, with the opportunity for some work-from-home flexibility.

Role requirements
Bachelor of Laws
Minimum 3 years post admission & solicitor experience in Family Law in Australia
Hold a current Solicitor Practicing Certificate in NSW
Proven track record in handling diverse cases with empathy & professionalism
Strong negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail
Ability to work collaboratively across the organisation
High-level of interpersonal skills, ability to build professional relationships with clients and stakeholders
