About the role
Our client is looking for an ambitious and reliable Assistant Accountant or Accountant to join their financial accounting team immediately, for an initial short term contract, with the potential for longer-term. The role and the business is suited to someone who is hard-working, reliable and holds strong financial accounting knowledge.
The responsibilities
Reporting into the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);
Bank reconciliations
Balance Sheet reconciliations
Intercompany reconciliations & reporting
Month-end closing process
Fixed asset register
Cost allocation
Journal entries and postings
Profit & Loss reviews
The successful applicant will have
Experience in Assistant Accountant role preferred
Strong reconciliation experience
Solid excel skills- confident with v-look ups and pivot tables
Reliable and committed
Excellent communication skills
