Mercy Community is seeking a passionate and engaging
Team Manager
to join our new Two Hearts program team. This is a Maximum term
Full-Time
contract position
till
8 June ****
role based in
Herston
. This role is a Monday to Friday based role.
The successful applicant for the role will be responsible for effective leadership, management and support in the development and implementation of high-quality service delivery to pregnant women and new mothers and their babies experiencing homelessness and mental health. This includes providing personal, qualified, and organisational support to program workers, helping them perform their duties effectively.
$110,110 - $114,980 per annum (SCHADS L6) plus superannuation plus salary packaging available
This role involves but not limited to -
Lead, mentor and support a multidisciplinary team including day-to-day and formal supervision to ensure wise practice to empower clients to achieve their goals
Ensure quality service provision in line with Program Models, policy and procedures and guidelines.
Build and maintain trusting and meaningful working relationships with clients and relevant stakeholders and partners
Work collaboratively with your line manager to identify and deliver appropriate services within available resources, continually assessing and responding to changing needs.
About you
As the successful applicant, you will possess:
Completed Bachelor's Degree (or above) in Social Work, Behavioural Sciences, Psychology, or a related discipline, along with relevant experience supporting vulnerable families and children
Significant experience working with families and babies, particularly in supporting people to secure safe and stable housing, mental health and developing safe parenting practices.




Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and mentor staff and build an effective team with a culture of high performance
Current and valid Paid Blue Card (Queensland Working With Children Check) or ability to apply
Queensland Provisional Green or above Driver Licence
First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
Evidence of current vaccination against whooping cough (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
