Key responsibilities
Provide assessment, diagnosis and evidence-based management of communication and swallowing disorders.
Deliver consumer-centred, goal-directed care in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Independently manage a clinical caseload while supporting positive rehabilitation outcomes.
Contribute to clinical education, supervision, quality improvement and service development activities.
What we're looking for
Recognised tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and eligibility for certified practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
Demonstrated experience providing speech pathology assessment and management within a clinical setting.
Ability to independently manage a caseload and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Commitment to evidence-based practice, professional development and continuous improvement.
Experience in inpatient sub-acute rehabilitation is highly regarded.

About the role
Barwon Health Speech Pathology is seeking an experienced Grade 2 Speech Pathologist to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation Centre team.
You will provide high-quality, evidence-based speech pathology services to inpatients within a supportive multidisciplinary rehabilitation environment.
Working across communication and swallowing disorders, you will collaborate with consumers, families and the broader healthcare team to support rehabilitation goals, independence and quality of life.
Our Speech Pathology team provides services across acute inpatient, acute outpatient, sub-acute inpatient rehabilitation and aged care settings, offering excellent opportunities for multidisciplinary collaboration, professional development and team connection.
