About theposition
Our WestsNelson Bay site is currently seeking a part time Cafe Attendant to join theirteam.
This part time opportunity is responsible and key to our patisserie locatedin our Food Court.
Providing outstanding customer service, daily activitieswill include:
Operating and balancing of tills
Preparing, cooking, and service food
Set up and set down of work stations
Cleaning of all work areas




Ensuring hygiene and safe food handling practices are followed
Provide friendly and efficient service to members and guests
This positionwill require availability to work on Friday nights, weekends as well as goodavailability through the week.
Our seasonal peaks run through summer, publicholiday and school holiday periods, availability during seasonal peaks isessential.
As part of The Wests Group recruitment and assessment process, all candidates progressing to the next stage will be required to complete relevant due diligence and probity checks specific to the role.
This includes, but is not limited to, a Criminal History Check, reference checks, and right to work verification via our company portal.
All associated checks and costs will be facilitated by The Wests Group.
About you
You aresomeone who can work under pressure whilst ensuring that our current highstandards are met.
Ideally you will have previous experience in a café or fastfood environment.
Along with positive work ethics, you will have the ability towork in a team environment and excellent interpersonal skills.
Your excellentcustomer service skills and problem solving ability will have you thriving inthis position.
