Our client is a family-owned and operated roofing business specialising in commercial roofing and cladding throughout South East Queensland.
Their work spans new builds, re-roofing, and architectural projects, delivering professional metal roofing and cladding solutions across a range of sites.
With a strong focus on quality workmanship and professional project delivery, they are looking for an experienced tradesperson to join their growing team.
About The Opportunity
The primary purpose of this position is to install and maintain metal roofing and commercial wall cladding systems while ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
Working alongside a professional team of Roof Plumbers, your responsibilities will include:
Installing metal roofing and commercial wall cladding systems
Reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
Installing flashings, rainwater goods, and associated roofing components
Completing roofing and cladding installations to industry standards
Maintaining high standards of workmanship across all projects
Following workplace health and safety requirements on-site
Working collaboratively with the wider team to complete projects
About You
You will have:
Certificate III in Roof Plumbing or equivalent experience in metal roofing and cladding
Previous experience with commercial and/or residential jobs
Experience installing metal roofing and wall cladding systems
Ability to read and interpret plans and project requirements
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to use initiative
You will also have:
Excellent communication and time management skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
Ability to work safely across varying weather conditions and site environments
Current Driver's Licence with reliable transport to and from job sites
Current Construction White Card
