About the Company
This is a well-established, nationally operating transport and logistics business with a proud history of keeping Australia moving.
Operating across every state and territory, the organisation delivers critical transport solutions at significant scale that is supported by a solid values-led culture.
The business is in an exciting period of growth and maturity, having invested heavily in its people, systems and safety capability over recent years.
The HSE function has evolved considerably - moving from a transactional model to a genuine business partner approach - and the organisation is now focused on driving the next phase of cultural uplift.
People who thrive here are collaborative, commercially minded, and bring energy and purpose to the work they do.
About the Role
Reporting to the Head of People and sitting within a high-functioning People & Culture structure, this is a senior group-level remit with genuine influence across the business.
You will lead a team of five HSE professionals who are embedded in states across the country.
This is a role for someone who understands the complexity of a national transport operation and can operate with pace and commercial acumen.
The team is at an important juncture: there is solid structure in place, capable people on the ground, and an opportunity for a solid leader to embed a coaching-led approach to safety that moves the needle on culture.
