Driver / General Assistant, Perth High School - PKC*****

Driver / General Assistant (Fixed Term until 15 August ****) - PKC*****
£19,275 - £20,306 (30 Hours per week, Term-time only)
Perth High School
Although 30 hours per week will be your core hours, you must be adaptable to change your working hours in any given week to meet the needs of the service, as a core part of job is to drive our school minibus for trips and events.
As part of the Business Support Team at Perth High School, reporting to our Senior School Technician, you will carry out a range of tasks to help support staff and pupils, including minibus driving and attending school trips.
When not driving, you will work with colleagues on a variety of different school-based tasks as part of the School Technician team.
Responsibilities:
Drive school minibus for school trips and events during the school day and where required out with the school day.
Attend school trips as a member of school staff.
Maintain tidiness and good order of the school minibus liaising with Fleet Management as required.
Provide Emergency First Aid as required.
You will complete a range of general tasks as part of the school Business Support team.
These may include:
Photocopying, printing and laminating.
Resource production.
General care and repair of resources and school equipment.
Set up for school events.
Assist Technician colleagues in providing support to various practical subjects.

Skills & Experience Required
You must have a valid UK driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross and on occasion other areas of Scotland.
Must have D1 on driving licence.
Must complete MIDAS – training will be provided
Must be Emergency First Aid trained – training will be provided.
We will carry out a PVG check.
Must be flexible in approach to work and working hours
