The Clinic
You'll be joining a up-to-date small animal hospital with a team of
4.5 FTE Veterinarians, including two experienced Lead Vets
, alongside an abundance of qualified nurses who provide strong support across the hospital.
The clinic has invested in its facilities and equipment, including:
Endoscopy
Digital X-ray
Dental X-ray
Full IDEXX in-house laboratory
New ultrasound machine
Deep tissue laser
Orthopaedic equipment




The team is focused on providing a high standard of patient care while creating an environment where vets can continue developing their skills and enjoy coming to work.
The Role
The position will have a predominantly
small animal caseload
, with a mixture of consulting and surgery.
You'll work alongside experienced vets and nurses, with the facilities available to investigate and manage a broad range of cases in-house.
The full-time roster is structured across
four days per week
, with one weeknight on-call and participation in a shared 1-in-5 weekend on-call rotation.
For vets considering a move to the region, relocation assistance is available, and the practice is also open to supporting eligible overseas veterinarians with visa sponsorship.
About You
Ideally, you'll have
2+ years of veterinary experience
and be comfortable across general small animal consulting and surgery.
More importantly, they're looking for someone who:
Provides a consistently high standard of patient and client care
Communicates confidently with clients and colleagues
Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a veterinary team
Has an approachable, professional attitude
Is adaptable and comfortable using their own initiative
Holds, or is eligible to obtain, veterinary registration in Queensland
