About the role:
With very early starts, you will play a key role in servicingpublic bins across town.
This includes placing public bins on theverge for collection, returning them to their surrounds onceemptied, repairing residents' bins, and delivering and removingevent bins as required.
By helping to keep the City's pristine tourist sites clean andsafe, you will make an significant contribution to deliveringhigh-quality waste management services for the City ofBusselton.
Reporting to the Waste Leading Hand, you will work a range ofshifts, including
very early starts
that may begin
from 2am
during peak periods
,
aswell as
weekends and public holidays.
You willalso work across both the Busselton and Dunsborough locations.
What you'll be doing:
Carrying out bin repairs and cleaning of event bins.
Delivering event bins when required.




Supporting the city's waste team and contractors withpublic waste and recycling bin emptying.
Maintaining clean, and safe tourist locations.
Performing preventative maintenance and daily checks onequipment.
Contributing to a positive, team-oriented safe workenvironment.
What you'll bring to the role:
The ideal candidate will align with the City's Values and beable to demonstrate the below competencies:
Hold a current C Class Driver's Licence
Ability to work early starts, weekends or public holidaysas required
Be physically fit, safety-focused and committed toteamwork
Pre-employment requirements:
Current C Class Licence
National Police Clearance not more than six months old
White Card
Proof of right to work in Australia
Hours and conditions:
This role is casual and the working days and times will vary,but will include early mornings and weekends.
