Temporary Full-time (80 hours per fortnight including ADO), based at the McKellar Centre and University Hospital Geelong on a rotational basis (until 16/04/2027)
About the role
As a Grade 1 Dietitian at Barwon Health, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based nutrition and dietetic services across a range of clinical settings.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support patients and clients to achieve optimal health outcomes through comprehensive, consumer-centred care.
This role is primarily based at University Hospital Geelong and/or McKellar Centre, with opportunities to work across other Barwon Health sites.
You will manage a clinical caseload, contribute to service improvement initiatives, and participate in team-based care planning.
Flexibility is required, including potential weekend work and rotation across sites to support service delivery needs.
Provide evidence-based nutrition and dietetic assessment, intervention, and care planning within a multidisciplinary team
Manage a clinical caseload, ensuring timely, accurate documentation and high standards of patient care
Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, consumer-centred care
Contribute to quality improvement activities,



audits, and service development initiatives
What we're looking for
Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) status, or eligibility, with Dietitians Australia
Demonstrated ability to manage workload, prioritise tasks, and work both independently and collaboratively
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships
A commitment to ongoing professional development, evidence-based practice, and Barwon Health values
