As a Consultant Paediatrician, you'll provide high-quality clinical care to paediatric and neonatal patients across the Goldfields region.
While primarily based at Kalgoorlie Health Campus, you'll also contribute and provide outreach to surrounding communities.
This position incorporates Paediatric Developmental and Medical Outpatients clinics at Kalgoorlie Health Campus and other Goldfields sites.
Current registration as a medical practitioner and specialist Paediatrician with the Medical Board of Australia, with eligibility to practise independently in Australia
Lead and promote a culture of clinical excellence through active participation in clinical governance, risk management, quality improvement activities, clinical audit and policy development
Demonstrate highly developed communication, negotiation and conflict resolution skills
Provide leadership, supervision,
mentoring and education to medical staff, students and multidisciplinary teams
Demonstrate an understanding of the challenges and opportunities of delivering specialist paediatric services in a regional and remote setting, including the ability to work collaboratively across geographically dispersed health services.
