Giovenco Projects Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter to join our growing team in Southern Highlands, NSW. As a Carpenter in our residential construction business, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of high-quality homes for our clients. This is a full-time position based in our Bowral location.
What you'll be doing
Reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications to carry out carpentry work as per the project requirements
Performing a range of carpentry tasks, including framing, roofing, flooring, cladding, and finish work
Collaborating with the broader construction team to ensure seamless project delivery
Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment, adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures
Identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process
Providing hands-on mentorship and guidance to junior members of the carpentry team
What we're looking for
Formal carpentry qualification, such as a Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Carpenter in a residential construction workplace
Strong knowledge of building codes,



regulations, and best practices
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Familiarity with reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications
