The people doing the most important work in sport, community and care are often the least supported - think of the volunteer coach responsible for thirty kids, the support worker on their first shift, or the club administrator who's just inherited a safeguarding policy and a folder of PDFs.
Training is supposed to stand between those people and getting it wrong. Too often, it's treated as a box to tick instead.
etrainu exists to change that. We build exceptional communities through education, and our online courses and Learning Management System already help 1,600+ organisations globally train 1.4M+ people a year across sport, community and care.
Right now we're in the busiest stretch of change we've had - new products, new regions, new partnerships - and we need to generate and convert demand at a bigger scale than ever before. We're not starting from scratch: we've got the clients, the reputation and the platform. This role is about pushing all of that further than it's gone before, and we need someone to help make it happen.
That's where you come in.
Your responsibilities
Paid media.
Google Ads as the primary channel, plus LinkedIn, Meta and ChatGPT Ads. Strategy, build, budget, optimisation, and the numbers at the end of the month.
Website.
etrainu.com content, landing pages, and the conversion paths across them, with support from our graphic designer.
Email and lifecycle.
Campaign builds, automation and segmentation in HubSpot.
Search, traditional and AI.
On-page and light technical SEO to grow organic traffic that converts. Alongside it, AEO: structured content, schema, citable material,

and tracking where and how we get mentioned.
Organic socials.
Work with the Marketing Manager to plan and schedule posts, and engage with the community. We care more about quality than quantity.
Conversion optimisation.
A running test program across ads, landing pages and email, with results we can act on.
Events and trade shows.
Planning, logistics and lead capture. Also packing boxes, hiring furniture and ordering merch.
What success looks like
By 90 days.
You know our audiences, funnel and numbers well enough to tell us where we are wasting money or where we are missing an opportunity, and you have shipped one improvement you spotted yourself.
By 6 months.
Paid, email and landing pages run against a plan you wrote. Cost per qualified lead is heading the right way, and you can explain why.
What you'll bring
3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in digital marketing, ideally B2B or SaaS
Experience building and owning paid campaigns. Come ready to talk numbers, including one that did not work and what you did next
Experience in GA4, Google Tag Manager, HubSpot and Webflow, or close equivalents
On-page SEO and AEO experience,

and enough technical understanding to know when something is broken and how to fix it (or the willingness to learn how to)
Experience building and publishing landing pages
Explicit, accurate writing
Comfort working from a goal rather than a task list
We care more about what you have owned than the years behind it. If you tick most of this list and not all of it, apply anyway.
What it's really like here
The marketing team is small, so you will do your own thinking and your own execution. Priorities move as new products and partnerships land. Some weeks are strategic, others are spent packing event boxes and fixing something that broke overnight.
If you like a clear brief handed to you each week, this probably is not the right role. If you would rather look at the numbers, work out what matters most and get on with it, you will have more room here than you would at a larger company, and people around you who are happy to help.
Who you are
You start things and see them through
You'd rather ask a direct question early than spend a month quietly working it out
When the numbers say your campaign isn't working, you believe the numbers
Pipeline matters more to you than busywork
You bring ideas, and you're the one who asks "have we tried the other thing?"
What we offer
Real ownership of channels and budget, and a say in what we build
A small, capable team with no egos and short decision paths
Meaningful work with global clients
Hybrid work and flexible hours
Opportunities to grow and lead
A central location, close to public transport
Birthday leave!
