We are seeking a Signwriter Painter to join our team. This opportunity is for a qualified Signwriter Painter who enjoys a variety in their workday, while working with a outstanding team environment.
About the role
Provides signwriting services and advice to stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Responsible for the manufacture and install of signage on all Council facilities and assets.
A balance between field work (installation of signs) and in-housework (production and preparation of signage).

a base salary ranging from $64,608 per annum with competency-based increments up to $74,025 per annum, plus 12% super

76-hour, 9 day fortnight

We are seeking
trade certificate or equivalent level of training to carry out the works of signwriting and painting
current driver's licence - car
Skilled in applying trade and signwriting techniques to complete work to required standards.
Sound understanding and application of relevant industry codes and standards.
Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements and safe work practices.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Experience using signwriting plotters and associated design/production software.

Where it's located
This position is based in Murwillumbah and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
