Painting & Decorating Apprentice
to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‐on experience while completing a nationally recognised qualification in Painting and Decorating.
As an apprentice, you will be employed by our client and receive structured workplace training and support while completing your formal training through

About the Role
Working alongside experienced tradespeople, you will learn a range of painting and decorating skills, including:
Surface preparation, sanding, filling and patching
Applying paints, stains, varnishes and protective coatings
Interior and exterior painting projects
Colour matching and paint selection
Masking and protecting work areas
Safe use of painting tools and equipment
Workplace health and safety practices
Maintaining a clean and organised worksite
About You
To be successful, you will:




Be genuinely interested in pursuing a career in Painting & Decorating
Have a solid work ethic and positive attitude
Be reliable, punctual and willing to learn
Have good communication skills
Be able to work as part of a team and independently when required
Hold a current White Card (
mandatory
)
Hold a current driver's licence and reliable transport (preferred but not essential)
Requirements
Current Construction White Card (
essential
)
Commitment to completing a Certificate III in Painting and Decorating
Ability to perform manual work and work at heights when required
Willingness to follow workplace health and safety procedures
To be eligible for an apprenticeship or traineeship you must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have full working rights.
