We're looking for a Senior Sous Chef to help lead it — someone ready to step into the Head Chef's shoes when required, hold the standard under pressure, and help shape a kitchen the whole brigade is proud of.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Working closely with the Executive Chef and Head Chef, you'll be central to the daily running of the kitchen. You will:
Lead service and run the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence
Mentor and develop junior chefs
Maintain quality, consistency and presentation across the menu
Manage ordering, stock control and food cost
Uphold HACCP, WHS and food safety standards
Assist with rostering,



labour and kitchen administration
Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials
Foster an accountable, professional kitchen culture
ABOUT YOU
Sous Chef experience in a premium, high-volume restaurant
A natural leader who earns respect through actions
Sound decision-making under pressure, comfortable managing a brigade
Robust grasp of food cost, labour and kitchen financials
Pride in training and developing others
A real passion for Mediterranean cooking, quality produce and fire
Ambition to become a Head Chef
