In this client-centred, trauma informed role, you'll conduct initial needs assessments and family violence risk screenings, providing immediate support and connecting women to internal services (like our Koori Women's Place, material aid, legal advice, and counselling) or external specialist providers.

Building collaborative relationships with internal teams and external agency partners
Participating in supervision, reflective practice sessions, professional development, and network forums
Complying with all relevant policies, procedures, and legislation including confidentiality and mandatory reporting provisions

The Victorian Aboriginal community and the particular impact of family violence on Aboriginal women
Family violence within an Aboriginal cultural framework that honours women's experiences and acknowledges its gendered nature
