Female Disability Support Worker - Part-Time
We are looking for a
female Disability Support Worker
to provide personal care and support to a participant who uses a wheelchair full-time.
Tuesday:
2 hours
Friday:
8 hours
Potential for additional hours in the future
About the role:
The successful applicant will be required to assist with:
Manual handling and secure transfers
Showering and personal hygiene
Changing continence aids/nappies
Feeding and mealtime assistance
Getting dressed and other personal care tasks
General daily living support
Ensuring the participant's comfort, dignity and safety
About you:
Female support worker preferred
Previous disability support experience
Must be confident and experienced with manual handling
Experience supporting someone who is fully wheelchair-dependent
Comfortable providing personal care, including showering and continence care
Patient, caring, reliable and respectful
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check and relevant checks/certificates preferred
First Aid/CPR preferred
This role would suit someone who is compassionate, dependable and comfortable providing hands-on personal care.
