Risk & Compliance ManagerLocation: Western SydneyEmployment Type: Full-timeIndustry: Logistics / Warehousing / Supply ChainLead safety, risk and compliance across a multi-site logistics operationOur client is a leading organisation within the warehousing and logistics sector, seeking an experienced Risk & Compliance Manager to take ownership of workplace health and safety, risk management and compliance across three operational sites (two in Western Sydney, one in Perth).
This is a highly autonomous role suited to a practical safety professional who enjoys being close to operations, building relationships with frontline teams, coaching leaders and driving meaningful improvements in safety culture.You will act as the trusted safety partner to operations, providing expert guidance while embedding robust WHS systems, risk controls and continuous improvement initiatives across a complex warehousing and logistics environment.About the roleReporting into the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for:Leading WHS, risk and compliance activities across three warehouse locationsDeveloping and implementing practical safety strategies, risk assessments and improvement plansConducting audits, inspections and investigations to identify hazards and reduce operational riskCoaching managers, supervisors and teams to strengthen safety ownership and accountabilityDelivering WHS training, inductions and safety communicationsSupporting incident, near miss and corrective action processesMaintaining compliance with relevant legislation,



standards and customer requirementsPartnering with operations teams to improve safety, quality and business performanceSupporting contractor compliance, site readiness and audit preparationAbout youYou are an experienced WHS professional who can operate independently and influence effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.You will bring:Demonstrated experience in WHS within warehousing, logistics, distribution, transport or a similar operational environmentStrong knowledge of warehouse risks, including manual handling, material movement, contractor management and frontline safety practicesExperience working as a standalone safety professional or in a role requiring significant autonomyThe ability to coach and influence leaders at all levelsA practical, solutions-focused approach to risk managementStrong communication skills and the confidence to challenge where requiredExperience implementing safety improvements and driving behavioural changeIdeally, you will haveExperience within 3PL, distribution, logistics, manufacturing or supply chain environmentsExperience supporting multi-site operationsExposure to regulated environments, audits and compliance frameworksWhy this chance?
