Network Engineer- Telecommunications | FTTP
We are seeking an experienced
Network Engineer
to join a telecommunications infrastructure team, working across the design, implementation and optimisation of access, edge and enterprise networks.
Key Responsibilities
Design and optimise telecommunications and enterprise networks.
Provide Level 3/4 support and troubleshoot complex network issues.
Work across FTTP, GPON/xPON, fibre and fixed access networks.
Integrate and test new network equipment and technologies.
Work closely with internal teams, vendors and delivery partners.
Maintain network standards, documentation and configurations.
Participate in an on-call roster and occasional site visits.
About You
5+ years' telecommunications Network Engineering experience.




Solid knowledge of
FTTP, GPON/xPON and fixed access networks
.
Experience with
MPLS, Layer 2, BGP, OSPF and TCP/IP
.
Strong troubleshooting and network diagnosis skills.
Experience with Nokia, Cisco, Juniper or Fortinet is highly regarded.
CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA/JNCP or relevant degree is desirable.
