NPD Planning Lead & Project ManagerLocation: SydneySalary: Circa $120K base + superWe are looking for an energetic, high-impact leader who can turn innovative product ideas into commercially successful launches in a fast-growth, high-energy environment.
You will own the global new product development pipeline across consumer health and wellness categories, managing multiple launches from concept through to formulation, testing, regulatory, commercialisation and go-to‐market.RoleYou will own and drive the NPD project pipeline across multiple international markets, typically managing concurrent projects at any given time.
Your responsibilities include:Leading end-to-end NPD projects from concept to launchManaging timelines, critical paths, budgets, documentation and stage‐gate requirementsCoordinating stakeholders across sales, supply chain, quality, brand, eCommerce, marketing, regulatory and financeRunning quick‐paced planning sessions that turn ambiguity into clear, dated milestonesMaintaining live risk registers and re‐phasing logsEscalating blockers quickly and holding stakeholders accountableSupporting launch readiness across manufacture, freight, customer DC and on‐shelf datesLeading, coaching and developing two direct reportsDriving a sharper, more disciplined approach to NPD governance and executionAbout youYou are highly organised, commercially aware and naturally driven.
You can influence senior stakeholders, challenge timelines, follow up relentlessly and keep projects moving when priorities shift.




You ideally bring:5+ years' experience in NPD, product development or project managementExperience within FMCG, consumer goods, health, wellness, food, beverage or other fast‐moving product‐based environmentsStrong project management capability across multiple concurrent launchesConfidence managing stakeholders across technical, commercial and operational teamsExperience with project tools such as Smartsheet, Asana, Monday.com or similarStrong attention to detail and a bias for executionThe ability to operate at pace in a scale‐up environmentPassion for health, wellness, fitness or consumer productsRelevant qualifications in project management, nutrition, food science, chemistry or a related fieldExposure to international regulatory frameworks such as TGA, FDA or similar would be highly regarded, but is not essential.Why this role?
