This is a senior finance leadership opportunity with a large, complex organisation undergoing continued investment in its finance capability.Reporting to a senior finance leader, the role will take ownership of statutory reporting, financial close, technical accounting, reporting policy, controls and process improvement.This position would suit a technically solid finance leader who enjoys leading people, improving processes, working with senior stakeholders and delivering high-quality reporting outcomes in a complex environment.Key responsibilitiesLead statutory reporting and year-end financial statement preparation across multiple entitiesOwn month-end and year-end close activity, with a focus on accuracy, controls and timely deliveryLead, coach and develop an established team of finance professionalsProvide technical accounting advice and prepare papers on complex reporting mattersMaintain and improve reporting policies, processes and control frameworksPartner with senior finance, audit, risk, operations and business stakeholdersManage the external audit process, including planning, coordination, issue resolution and deliveryDrive improvement across reconciliations, accruals, reporting timelines, controls and financial closeSupport senior reporting requirements and provide clear,



accurate financial information to decision makersAbout youYou will likely bring a Big 4 background, followed by strong industry experience in a complex corporate environment.You will have strong statutory reporting, technical accounting and financial close experience, combined with proven people leadership.
